We worked with the folks at MorCan Direct to create a mini-site with a compelling dynamic mortgage switcher calculator. Through this tool, users are able to see how much money they could be saving by switching to a different mortgage product, even after taking closing costs (including the interest rate differential) into account.
The site is coded almost entirely in jQuery, doing all computations on the client browser. We decided to make it fully dynamic, so the net savings and the accompanying chart are updated every time a field on the form changes.
This is an example of a “Shiny Lure” site: a single-feature website designed to attract users, provide great value, and then guide them to the next step in the relationship building chain (in this case, there’s a call to action to set up a free consultation.)
