Thrust Labs can solve your iPhone and iPad development problems:
Problem 1: You can’t find development talent. Boom. You’re here. Fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Problem solved.
Problem 2: Your website doesn’t work on the iPad, iPod, and iPhone. Chances are, we can fix that for you too.
Whether you think they’re trendy and overpriced or not, there’s no denying that Apple’s family of devices have changed the way people consume the internet – possibly for a very long time to come. The iTunes App Store has over half a million options in it (getting found is a whole other thing, but we can help with that too) and even if you don’t want to build the Next Big Thing that everyone’s talking about while in line at Starbucks, it’s vital that your website works in a mobile browser.
Here are a few of the ways we can help:
iOS game development
We’ve got a few apps in the works right now. We’re big fans of the mini-games – the simple but addictive apps that can be played in a minute or two (but when you look up, half an hour has passed.) These kinds of games can be beautiful, compelling, and lucrative, and we’ll be honest here – they don’t have to cost a whole lot to build. If you’ve got a strong vision for a game, get in touch and we’ll work together to make it a reality.
We’ll be honest, this is an area we haven’t actually tried yet, but from a marketing perspective, we’re in love with the idea of a simple app that does one thing, really well, for the purposes of promoting a brand. We’re convinced that promotional apps are going to be the new branded pen, except through the power of the app store you don’t have to physically put one in every prospect’s hand. If you’re tired of wasting money on frisbees, let’s talk.
Already have something in the store but your development team went AWOL and you need something fixed? That’s exactly what we’re doing for [whoops, I can't reveal that name yet!] who needed help moving an app to a new account and adding some new features to increase ad revenue. Digging into someone else’s source code is scary, but it’s a big part of our technical execution practice. Get in touch and we’ll get you back up and running ASAP.
Enabling your website for the mobile web
App, schmapp, you say? Sure! iPhone apps aren’t the right play for everybody, but if your website doesn’t work on the devices, you’re losing revenue and credibility in the marketplace. It’s more than just a matter of if you’re using Flash: do you rely on mouse hovering? Is the screen layout compatible? Check out the scroller we did for Invisible Pictures on an iPad and a desktop for an example of what we’re talking about.
